Our history

KraftPowercon AB has been serving the industry since 1935 and many of our business relations have been with us since then. Kraft is a highly specialised company with extensive know-how and a strong international focus.

It started with battery charges in cooperation with Tudor AB. 1948 the company launched the rectifiers for electro chemical surface treatment and 1955 the first transformer rectifier for electrostatic precipitator was delivered. These three product groups are still in our assortment

Over the years we have been working with other products such as welding rectifiers, chargers for batteries for sub marines and starting equipment for jet airplanes.

1996 a daughter company in Hong Kong was started; Kraft Electronics Ltd. in Hong Kong, primary working for the printed circuit board industry.

1999 we bought Chemring Plating Systems in Portsmouth. It was incorporated in our group under the name of Kraft CPS Ltd.

2005 we formed a daughter company in Shanghai; Kraft Electronics Shanghai Ltd. for manufacturing of apparatuses for the world market.
